The goal of the Friday, January 27th meeting is to develop an action plan for Lake Superior that includes potential projects, partners, funding sources, and project leaders to move ideas towards implementation.

The workshop will build on recommendations from a similar March, 2009 workshop. The objective of the workshop is to bring together government and non-government organizations that participate in resource management, community outreach and education in the Lake Superior basin.

Groups will be asked to identify projects and opportunities for collaboration to help achieve our respective and shared goals for the Lake Superior basin. Topics will include habitat/terrestrial wildlife/aquatic communities, critical pollutants, human health and community sustainability.
