The Lake Superior Binational Forum is the citizen stakeholder group for the Lake Superior Binational Program. It consists of 24 American and Canadian volunteers from various sectors including, but not limited to, small business, local elected officials, environmental organizations, industry, Native American and First Nations/tribes, academia, recreation and anglers, and the faith community.

Its purpose is to provide input and analysis to basin governments about critical issues relating to Lake Superior such as discharge of toxic substances, pollution prevention, and restoration efforts. The members of this group are also responsible for recommending strategies for eliminating pollutants and contributing towards the foundations of a new economy.
