Mining on Lake Superior: Past, Present and Future
In this issue briefing we will describe the extent of a potential mining surge in the Lake Superior watershed and its implications. We will also outline the extent of operating and closed mining operations. We will raise the issue of the implications of the government-stated goals in the Binational Program to Restore and Protect the Lake Superior Basin for mining operations.
